Frequently asked questions
When is the best time to have sclerotherapy of spider veins?
In principle, treatment with micro-sclerotherapy can be done at any time. After treatment, however, you should wear compression stockings for a few days to a few weeks and not have saunas, not use solaria, and not sunbathe for a while. There is no treatment that makes spider veins disappear overnight. You must therefore have a little patience until your body has broken down the diseased veins and you can see how successful the treatment has been.
If it does not bother you to avoid the sun in summer and to wear compression stockings for some time, you can also undergo treatment at this time of the year. Most people tend to have sclerotherapy between October and May, so that the effects of treatment can be seen (on the beach) the following summer.
